We can work with your designer or architect, or provide in-house design service. Although our shop is located in Easton, PA, we have a design professional conveniently located who will visit your home to to confer with you, get a feeling for your taste and style, and carefully measure the area. They will work patiently with you help you arrive at the look and layout you’re searching for. We’ll furnish 3-D renderings and architectural drawings, emailing them to you for your consideration. We can help you in the selection of woods and colors, showing you actual wood samples.

While adhering to many time-tested woodworking traditions, we us modern methods where appropriate. With our long experience building bookcases we know what woods and what methods of construction will give most long-lasting and esthetically pleasing results. Using traditional joinery along with modern fasteners, adhesives, and finishes, we make bookcases of enduring beauty and functionality.

When we build your bookcases, we’ll choose the materials carefully, selecting them for their beauty and longevity. For our natural wood finishes we use native American hardwoods (cherry, maple, oak, and walnut) and imported mahogany, all selected for their beauty and richness. For our painted finishes we use maple, birch, and poplar, each chosen for its unique characteristics. When veneered constructions are needed for strength and stability, we select panels with wood-veneer cores as opposed to cheaper fiber-cores.
